I forgive easily. My forgiveness is complete and forever. When I forgive myself or someone else, I wisely release the painful images and emotional attachments. I choose to be blessed, and I know forgiveness keeps me living in my blessings. I don’t allow my past to determine my present conditions or future experiences. I always choose wholeness because I love to experience God’s love, health, prosperity, joy, and success. Holding on to negative energy keeps me out of alignment with the kingdom of God within me, so I choose to forgive for my own wellbeing.
I forgive myself. I no longer punish myself for my past mistakes. I recognize that I did the best I could at the time, and I free myself. Whatever I did is over. If there are actions that I need to take to rectify any harm I may have caused others, I lovingly ask God how I can do it without imposing on someone else’s life. Sometimes God tells me to be still and simply release the judgments I have made about myself and others.
I forgive others for any transgressions against me. I do so for my own freedom. No one must change for me to forgive because forgiveness is my choice. I choose to forgive because I cherish the peace of mind that true forgiveness provides. Forgiveness doesn’t require reconciliation. I simply choose to be free, to let go and let God.
Audibly affirm: Christ in me sets me free. I choose to forgive and prosper.
“And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Matthew 6:12 NRSVUE
